Good evening @TheChamp and all the other guys. I am very pleased to inform you all that I have managed to sort 95% of my problems out . I'm soooo damn relieved and happy. Still a few issues namely: Car backfiring, petrol consumption still a bit high and I still have the issue when the petrol...
I'm sure you are, that's putting it mildly I'm extremely pissed off @ the idiot that thought he knew what he was doing and stuffed it up big time. But I have sorted a lot of problems out since I started and once again thanks to The Champ & Stokstert without you guys I would've given up long ago...
Ok sounds like a good idea will follow your always helpful advice you have always guided me through my problems and always spot on with your diagnosis and solutions. A huge thank you much appreciated Champ your the man
Now the task @ hand to reconnect the wires to the lugs & then back into the plug, eyes aren't that great anymore luckily I have a huge magnifying glass and my glasses lol should work
I was thinking that it was connected to the crank sensor, the wire runs down behind the cambelt cover certain it's the wiring for the crank sensor. Have you managed to find the colour coding for the temp sensor? Sorry to be a pain in the @r$e lol
Oh ok great stuff thanks for your input and advice. I hope the color coding wasn't changed. I'll Google to see what the ohm reading should be. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could send me the info
That cable is coming from the loose red plug not connected. The grey cable goes up into the black plastic injector rail out the other side into the main wiring harness. I will open injector rail and send photo's if that will help? I will send better photo's of the plug and wire too
I think the sensor might be buggered hopefully I'm getting the multimeter later today can I test the sensor to check if it's functioning? Have the plug but don't know which wire goes where I have to try connect the wires to the plug again not an easy fix.
Do you have any idea where the lost...
Evening Champ,
Just to refresh your memory and update on my progress ... On Saturday I bought a new fuel pump relay put it in on Sunday. She didn't start I disconnected the battery. While it was disconnected I was doing a general check for any loose connections or loose plugs etc I saw a plug...
