    Yeah it is a bit. I wouldn't recommend this for a new setup. At least the bypass switch doesn't interrupt the power for long enough to cause anything running to turn off.     I was also wondering this. The manual seems to have a heavy Google Translate filter on it. I did have my inverter completely disconnected from a power source for a while while doing the upgrade. I wonder if the internal memory is retained somehow or there is a little CMOS style battery or something.

    Is it possible the BMS prevents the pulses from reaching the internal cells but the voltage still reads high across the battery poles due to the pulse from the charger?
