    We did something similar recently. They had to dig and throw concrete footings for the walls as we had existing fences prior to the wall. Steel was a major cost as well. If using a reputable construction company the cost seems about correct. At least to me it does.

    That's a good price if done properly. I paid R350 per unit installed. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with stoppers on each tap for basins and baths as well as stoppers outside for the showers supply lines. Was just under 4k for stop cocks all round.

    Buy the pre-made fiber cables and then have them pulled through conduit. Contrary to what people say, they are actually quite tough. Have personally done this at the in laws place.
