I tried to look for the original notice on the website, but it has been removed. It talked about that we need to join and feed back in. The only other doc I can find is the policy for SSEG.
Hi all.
Just an update.
Everything all working well with the Solar. Even the battery is behaving well after it's update.
I have also installed Gas Geyser this month. So here's hoping for more savings on the Eskom bill.
The only problem I have now is with the Municipality. The Oudtshoorn...
So some good news.
Finally got a cable and updated the firmware. All seems well so far. I have changed the settings back to % and also started the timer function. From 11pm to 6 am I am only on the battery and had 50% in the morning. I do see that its not reporting full 100% but I...
Apologies for the late reply.
Hubble suggested to do the firmware update but what a struggle I had with them. After the 3rd time I asked for the files they come back to me and say they do not drop files in google drive but instead used Wetransfer. So finally got the files.
Just a quick...
Apologies for the late reply. Here is the photo and other that might help.
At the time of writing we are currently in loadshedding.
I have disabled the timer function for now until I can get the cable to update the hubble firmware.

Will do when I return from home. I researched a bit and found out on another forum that there is a software bug on the battery and needs updating. I also got new settings to use in the meantime whilst I am waiting for the RS232 cable.
I have to say that the settings are working perfectly. 4...

So I have a problem with my hubble battery. Drained too fast. On Tuesday's loadshedding it hit the 20% and shut down. Luckily we were a few minutes away from loadshedding from ending. Consumption was average 300 - 500w. Not sure whats wrong. Settings seems fine. Called the installer and he was...
I feel your pain. Especially the inverter that to high. I have to get a ladder to check. Reason why the battery is on the side is not only for the cabling to look better. But when I do add a second battery then I dont have to worry about space underneath the current battery.
Thanks. Its currently set to stop at 40%. Will make the changes. I
I had the problem once with loadshedding and bad weather. The installer added the swimming pool pump to the load even thou I asked to be seperate. Due to my capacity limitations. In any case. Load shedding + Bad weather +...
So finally I got an municipal account with the correct readings. For the 25 days between the 2 readings I used 198kwh. Or 7.9kwh per day. Down from 15kwh per day. Not to bad in my books. Just have to fine tune the battery settings for optimal use.
