    Boet I use to cruze 4500 km a month in my 180IE Astra back in the lates 90's .... RBY to DBN and back 3 to four time a week ....CRASH// TILT //330 //JOE COOLS....BUZZ BAR PMB ........ say no more...car had autopilot

    Back to the STONE BRAKES AND DIKS... Two days done ...240 km driven....in and around RBY...Nice response on the pedal , no funny noises....but suppose it is still early days

    Apart from the clutch kit (6k) and other special items( window winder motor 4 k) the scooby original spares are not that expensive, head gaskets, oil filter , cam belt exh gaskets , tappet covers gasket plug leads etc not that bad...the other stuff though...as mentioned above...eish

    Was close to buying my own engine stand and hoist....and doing the job myself......this is my first and last Subaru....if I lived in Europe or USA I would own one again snytime...I absolutely love the car, its drive and the way it handles...but cant be bothered with the lack of after sales...

    Just bought for my subaru forester...disks and pads R 1600, my baby has 300000 on the clock so was not going to outlay 6k from Subaru...clutch and head gasket replacement just broke the bank...anyway will keep you updated wrt brakes
