Still timeouts on either SMTP address. Test messages to myself get delivered again and again.

I use Telkom (I know this is not ideal) I had this discussion with Cool Ideas technical. They agreed that the Cool Ideas SMTP server suited my purposes best and provided the documentation for setup. If you have a better solution, I would be eager to use it. Please send me the setup details...
Correct, it is not related directly to the DDOS attack but continues to occur after every incident of an attack, refer my incident tickets. If the technicians would actually speak to customers, they might be able to trace the situation and resolve it.
This is not a relay. As Cool Ideas is my ISP, I need an smtp server to send mail from my mail client to the wider internet mail. This was discussed in detail with the technical staff at Cool Ideas' office face to face at the time I was evaluating Cool Ideas as my ISP. It has worked correctly...
