    All you are doing by paying, is assisting the SABC big wigs to live a high life. Not one Rand of anyone's TV license fee contribution goes towards programming for you. Haven't you noticed that the government has to bail the SABC out of huge losses of billions every year?

    Should traffic officers be issued with body cameras?

    The only way it could work is if the "footage" is relayed directly to a central recording facility, but even then there will be corrupt officials to "take care" of it for a fee or a threat! But even with this, what is going to stop the cop from turning the camera off or obstructing the lens...

    Do you think all zoos should be closed?

    I don't know if there is, but there should be an international zoo control organization with a code of standards for all zoos to comply with and if they don't, shut them down. There are some wonderful zoos in the USA that concentrate more on the protection of species with captive breeding...

    Where I live , deep in the old Transkei we have kids way under the age of 18 drinking in the open. When reported to the local police, no reaction. Changing the laws will change nothing unless the laws are policed.

    Give level 3 a chance. No matter how much the country "locks down", unless the non-observers are policed and action taken, nothing will change. The ridiculous anamolies in the laws invite people to challenge the laws. How is it logical to take action against a few holidaymakers on a large spread...

    5 or 6 , but all minor fender benders. Considering that's over a period of 57 years of driving I guess it's not bad!!

    I refuse to see my license fee paying for political appointments, poor management, excessive salaries for incompetent staff, free junkets everywhere and biased programming. This has been happening forever. When things change, I might consider paying a license fee!

    In the old Transkei where I live, I see so much social mixing and non-observance of social distancing and general safety - the numbers have to rise.

    At least he has some background experience, unlike the clowns before him who were politically appointed cronies of government placed into the position in desperation and to give them the opportunity to make themselves millions in unwarranted bonuses and exit "golden handshakes".
