    Have you offered to move you salary into a bank account at the respective banks giving you the offer? I had prime less 0.8 and then managed to get prime less 1.0 with moving my salary into a Nedbank account. My contract has a clause to keep that account (Savvy Plus or Bundle) open for the bond term.

    Yeah. I had that. Just keep trying... I had issues with Discovery Bank Rewards - 9 months of calls and emails. Eventually it was resolved and I had 3 months of bank charges reversed for my troubles.

    If you can find an investment at a higher interest rate than your home loan with instant access then that is the way to go. But generally you can't guarantee that with savings/investments, especially with instant access, and potential tax implications. I pay extra into the bond every month and...

    Many people don't realise this. Having an access bond is way better than gambling on fixing an interest rate for a couple years.

    Try enter an area or region rather than the individual hotel. I've had the same issues before when searching individual hotels - but for some I couldn't figure out how to get them to show up correctly.
