    1 year old gel batteries not lasting as long as they should ... had them tested, apparently they are 100% fine ... what could be the issue then?

    I have the same Mecer set up, had similar problems. Only one battery was faulty. While it is charging feel along the side of the battery if there is a warm patch. This indicates a dead cell. I did this, replaced one battery and been 100% since.
