    OK I figured it out hehehe. For those that don't know...install the downloaded app from the app store on the mibox s and then enter the URL Leo_ shared. I am just not sure where to disable auto updates.

    Some devices/apps by default use Google DNS servers so by routing traffic meant for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 to an address that doesn't exist, you can stop that from happening.

    That I know...however for some reason it seems to still work when I change the mask for the rules to 255.255.255.0 - not sure why but I am on the same page as you :) Looks like if I don't get the D-link system I will just need to keep the existing TP or D link router between the master mesh node...

    No it specifically complains about the subnet mask. However, I tested on my TP-Link this morning changing the subnet mask for the two rules to 255.255.255.0 and the traffic was still blocked.     Tenda doesn't allow a 255.255.255.255 mask...it says it's invalid. TP and D link allows it and is what I need.
