At around 15:40, I noticed that my latency changed a little bit and since the my line seems to be fine, but it has only been an hour. No packet loss as well.
@Afrigirl
Just got this from Vuma claiming the issue has been resolved. I don't know how the repair was done as my internet never went down.
I did reboot my router but there was no change, still experiencing slow downloads with normal uploads and packet loss.
I received an email from Vuma saying they have dispatched a technician for an unscheduled visit, so they are first going to check outside somehow.
I also did further testing. The slow downloads are not actually only international servers, as can be seen below from speedtest.net:
I did check further, speedtests to Johannesburg 180Mbps down and up. But any international server, the download only goes up to 1Mbps and upload to about 100Mbps.
I did log a ticket with Afrihost, they escalated it to Vumatel.
Screenshots posted was from my phone, which is on WiFi, but I get similar results on my PC connected directly to the router. The ping test is done on a linux machine that is also directly connected to the router.
WinMTR on my PC connected with wired connection to router:
Good day,
Are there any other people experiencing buffering and long load times when streaming Netflix or F1TV?
I did use the Netflix app on my TV to test the network, it shows 6Mbps.

I have rebooted my router and ONT, no difference. I am on Vuma...
No, still have the issue. The only feedback I am getting is that the ticket is logged and they are awaiting feedback from Vuma, ticket was logged last week.
Vuma did contact me to do a new installation, but I then told them that I already have a fibre that was migrated from Vodacom to Vuma...
Still having intermittent internet connectivity issues. Afrihost support just says that Vodacom tested everything and the link is up. They are now suggesting it is my router, but I have tested with a different router and with my laptop connected directly to the ONT with the same results.
It...
