I found a dealer that offered me the best price for my car (3008 GT). Best offer was R550k and that was R200k shortfall. I was unable to get a loan from most banks for that amount, so I turned to family and someone was able to loan the money...
When I bought the car, it was R700k something and they only had one with a sunroof, which increased the amount a bit and they had to load +-R20k to settle my previous car. Interest rate is 8% but not locked.
We are married out of commune and the house is in both our names, but gets deducted...
Interest rate is at 8%, but yeah.
Also, I know I was stupid, again this is not the reason for the thread. I just needed some advice and it seems I was right with the steps I want to take, so lets see what happens and I will post back in a couple of days/weeks when things have changed. :)
