    You're right re the freeway use, I might been a bit unclear. I will avoid where possible but there might be the occasion where I need to get onto one and I don't want to be "stuck" without some sort of power.

    BMW 310r is stunning but now we're up to almost R80k and enter a whole new range of bikes. Honda NC750x new is hearing towards R130k. Even a 2nd hand 5 year old one is about R90k.

    By the way, I love the look of the Big Boy Mustang 250 but I've read a few iffy things about the brand. And the top speed on that one is not great. Any opinions on the Voges? They're Chinese but come out of the Loncin factory where some BMWs are made. Reviews have all seemed good.
