It reports that it is 1080p but with Dolby Vision being activated I think is safe to assume that it is 4k and that the app is lying. It is certainly better image quality than I would expect from upscaled 1080p.
I set my quality setting in Disney+ to 1080p. My LG CX reported that the content was in Dolby Vision and has played so far in 4k without freezing, or at least it looks like 4k. It will be interesting to see how long this workaround lasts.
My ISP is Mweb and my fibre provider is Vumatel. I rate MWeb as giving me 5 star service.
