FNB announces enhancements to its eBucks Rewards loyalty programme

FNB does not send any links via email. It's an anti-phishing measure (i.e. if you receive an email supposedly from FNB with a link in it, don't click it as they didn't send it). It's painful to work with.

The average commuting motorist in South Africa would save roughly R60 per day driving an electric car at current fuel prices

I compared both the R530k one and the R600k ones. It's disingenuous to compare pricing of vehicles which are significantly different, you need to compare like for like. A comparison of the Swift to the Geely E2 or BYD Dolphin Surf would have been more accurate, even though it still wouldn't be...

The average commuting motorist in South Africa would save roughly R60 per day driving an electric car at current fuel prices

The Suzuki Swift is not equivalent to a BYD Dolphin. If you're going to compare cars and car prices, you need to compare cars that are roughly equivalent (specs, size, features etc). The closest vehicle to a Dolphin Standard which I could spec (in terms of space, features etc) was a VW Golf...

Eskom has eliminated IBT for it's prepaid customers, so they're not restricted by this

Different vouchers might be supplied by different providers, so it's possible that certain vouchers work whilst others error out, if some of the providers are having issues.

Geely E2 selling like hotcakes in South Africa

Until recently the separate Geely divisions ran totally autonomously, so this doesn't necessarily follow.

Many popular hybrids in South Africa lack a safety feature that could soon become mandatory

In other words, it's useless / stupid / laughable until it directly affects you.

Geely is launching its EX2 EV in South Africa this month

What new car can you get for R168k today?

Why you should buy an electric car in South Africa

They should have compared the BYD Dolphin to a VW Golf rather than Polo. I believe the Dolphin's natural market competitor (in terms of size, space, power etc) is the Golf

Did anyone else have trouble getting past the address screen on the iStore partner store on the 15th? Was anyone able to checkout with a discounted product on the iStore, and if so roughly what time did you check out? If you failed to check out, please indicate roughly what time you had issues?

Are massive fuel price increases enough to get you to go electric?

What's the equivalent 2026 BMW X3 M Sport priced at? The comparison I'm seeking is between getting an EV and an equivalent ICE. If the 2026 X3 M Sport is also near R1.36m then you're no worse off from purchasing an EV compared to the ICE, if there is a significant price difference then you would...

Are massive fuel price increases enough to get you to go electric?

How much extra would you pay in on your car's trade value to get an equivalent ICE car to the electric one? You're trading in an older car and getting a newer vehicle, so it will be more expensive.

    F1 2026

I thought the same, it was smart individual racing by Leclerc, but didn't help his teammate much. He benefited from it though, by forcing Lewis to defend so much, Lewis degraded his tires more, making it easier for Charles to overtake him

Smart Spend has nothing to do with your statement dates, it's based on when your transaction was banked. If some of your Feb transactions were banked in Mar, they'll be counted for March Smart Spend. You can go to Nav Money and check what the settlement date was for your late Feb transactions

Man loses court case against Investec after his wife used their credit card to gamble away R2.4 million on Hollywoodbets

Depends. This was on his account. If they're married ANC with no accrual then the full debt is his, she can walk away scot free. They'd only share the debt if they're married in community of property, or ANC with accrual.
