🎬 How My Family Cinema Shows “VOD”-Type Content
1. Personal Media Index System
My Family Cinema does not host movies or TV shows itself.
Instead, it works as a “media indexer” — it lets users connect their own cloud storage accounts (for example, Google Drive or similar).
The app then scans...
Yes, I know about the MFC importing the zip files. So the Watch;ist Pro thingie works the same way then. I could not remember how I did it when I started with Watchlist Pro. I left MFC in December last year when I needed to renew my Subscription for the year but was told via the WhatsApp app...
I have just checked out the App again and all seems to be playing fine. It also seems they have improved the cloud updates. All new shows and movies are available. I know that you have to pay a little bit extra to have local Afrikaans stuff to watch.
I can't remember if this came pre-loaded with the Cloud installed already. the cloud thing worked differently to MFC where you had to import the Zip files. I don't think you have the option to import clouds yourself on Watchlist Pro. You are depended on the hosts regarding updated VOD.
I do have it. Have not really used it that much. Some major issues I have picked up is that they are not updating the Cloud information that often or nothing at all. Like you have said, its a copy of MFC. I am currently using IPTV VOD at the moment.
I got hit big time with customs now. Order value, R560.00. Customs, R224.10. Its 40% customs. Eish! Basterds! No clothing in my order. last week I ordered all clothing and only paid 20% customs. It's a gamble with customs it seems.
Is there a big difference in 4k quality or any other resolution when streaming 4K and broadcasting 4K via the Satellite (PVR)?
I'm sure it's all about the equipment/devices you are using.
You Tech-savy guys knows how to go about these tech stuff. I will remember this post and come back to you for some guidelines if I want to go this route.
Especially for live sports streaming. Not many broadcasters supply live 4K content. I'm using an IPTV service with live 4K sports, but its more like "1080p at 45-60Fps" not real 4K.
