LTE MiFi and WiFi routers are more likely to be locked; my Vodacom "dongle" is useless without a Vodacom SIM data card.
Out of these sub-6K phones, which one would you recommend? Samsung seems to be the only one that "promises" up to 4 years of support with updates.

Thought about that option, but wanted a more versatile system: Windows and Linux OS. Also way outside my price range.
Thanks again! I checked Carbonite (have purchased a few items already from the resellers there) but did not see any mini PC links or on sale. They are hard to find.
Takealot has a few but a very pricey even for entry-level machines.
