    Measured 74mm of rain yesterday (6am to 6am) in the Pinetown area. Had to backwash the pool to drop the water level in case we get major downpours today.

    Was lovely driving to work today, no traffic whatsoever. There are at least two helicopters circling Durban CBD that I can see from our office. @RedViking Apparently the protest marches start at 10h00.

    Glad the big rain stayed away, only had 7mm of rain yesterday in Pinetown.

    Over the past weekend we ended up with just over double the rainfall of the entire month on January 2026. For January 2026 I measured 64mm in Farningham Ridge, with the rainfall over the weekend amounting to 134mm (65mm Friday night, 63mm Saturday and 6mm on Sunday).
