1. Cheap transport, as was the case with me, was abandoned after use.
2. Ram raids, use the car to smash into shops to steal cigarettes and alcohol or whatever.
3. Boy Racers, kids thst use them to race.
4. Some chop shops resell them.
Then the next step is comparing the savings and how many km to drive to break even on car costs.
Purchase, service, battery replacement, insurance. Would time value of money be too much to ask as well?
I have a aqua hybrid. Biggest problem is theft (in NZ)

Uses an insanely small amount of fuel for town driving. Long distance saving is ok.
PEV cars here do about 50km before ice engine takeover.
Both need about 50000+ km of driving to break even on fuel costs vs the extra on purchase price.
