    Does anyone know whether these packages would be decent for gaming/streaming? What's the performance and speed like? Unfortunately I don't have fibre in my area and my VDSL line has become terrible so I'm considering signing up for this.

    Ohh, I have one as well haha. I’ve been trying to find another VDSL modem because this one tends to struggle when there are multiple devices connected (13-14 devices). Off topic, but do you by chance know if getting a router would make things any better ?

    You're actually on ADSL2+ You should give a call to whoever is handling your line to change your modulation to VDSL. Your speed test also shows some packet loss which isn't good. Had a similar issue with 20MB ADSL2+ in the past but VDSL fixed these issues.

    They do not. Well not for me at least. I upgraded from 10mb to 20mb and my line was syncing at 22mbps on ADSL2+ It wasn’t the best experience after some time so I had to call them and ask to change me to VDSL.

    I was thinking about doing this but damn the experience really isn't good at all. Ping is just so much higher and I have kids that game so I constantly get nagged lol. Besides that, I download a lot too and the speeds just aren't constant. I know you said check at 1am when things aren't...

    @MavChat was kind enough to send me a test account to check my speed. I ended up getting full speed through cable with mybroadband test. I had no idea that Telkom only provided a line upgrade without a package upgrade. I thought it was inclusive. Still gonna downgrade tho, it's not worth it for...
