Yep you are right, the first Black Bottle (in a green bottle) was more Islay biased than the current bottling. Every-time I find an original bottling I snap it up, really nice easy drinking daily dram.- Stu_Mack

Not personally but they do come quite highly rated, so interested to find out. If the gin's are so-so just add some extra bitters and herbs, fruit etc- Stu_Mack
