FNB Connect responds to increased MVNO adoption

What a load of rubbish. The only way they got to this is through smart device sales. When anyone buys any smart device FNB forces a mobile sim into the package. If you buy an iPad, a watch or laptop it comes bundled with a sim. This is a rip off. I very much doubt that they would be successful...

Makro gunning for top ecommerce spot in South Africa

If they are using OneCart then they already lost this battle. OneCart are amateurs at best who started at the bottom & like it there. Makro can become number 1. However, they are going to need a real logistics strategy. They have been talking about Walmart “strengths & experience “ for a while...

Invisible front cameras and graphene batteries - Innovative new smartphone tech

In 2007 we had phones with cameras in them. Now we have cameras with phones in them. All we are seeing are improvements in existing technology. Some may call them gimmicks. True innovation is gone. That’s why Jony Ives left Apple. Apple does not have the visionary like they had in Steve Jobs...

SABC has now discovered previously untapped looting potential. Innovative thinking. Sadly, they don’t realise that if they stop stealing, maybe more people will pay.

Threats of national shutdown over electricity

Flat rate of R150 is too low. I support an amount of R155 which I think is reasonable. All cars should be sold for a flat rate as well. Me thinks flat rate for cars should be R500. I have been eyeing that ferari for a long time. Oh wait, fuel should also be 25 cents a litre with a cap of R1...

Returning my Takealot order - An awesome experience

It works when it works. Generally works very well. However, when there hiccups, it’s when the wheels fall off. Their staff seem to be clueless & seem to depend on the system to tell them what to do. There are scenarios which their systems do not cater for & their staff show complete ignorance &...

I went overseas for a week on business. I received a gig of data each day at a total cost of about R125. No thanks to SA roaming.

Do you use the Post Office?

This has been my experience as well and has occurred repeatedly. It is especially painful when they send it to a post office that is not really anywhere near where you live.

Do you use the Post Office?

The LAST time I used them, the item disappeared and had to claim for non delivery of the item. In each of the previous times, they sent the item to a post office far from home. I now pay extra for courier delivery. Far more reliable.
