I had the same results initially. Logged a call and asked Afrihost whats up. They said they would log a call and ask Openserve whats up. Openserve phoned me and asked whats up. Next test showed the correct 200/100 speed. I suspect somebody just needed to reset a port or something. I'm sure they...
Indeed! It was very quick to resolve once I got hold of the right person. The first support person assured me it was a faulty LAN cable :|
Oh and my line was in the holding pool for 29 days ... so a little over 3-5 days is possible :P
@Afrihost-Gian, congratulations on an awesome product and an awesome launch.
I was hesitant to move over to Afrihost because of the bad rep from the past... but everybody deserves a chance, so I gave it a go!
From order (Monday) to online (Thursday) the process has been smooth and easy.

I'm in the process of moving my OpenServe line from Cool Ideas. They assured me via the cancellation mail:
I'm really hoping that the transfer goes smoothly.
14MB/s or 112Mbit is already very close to 100Mbit and more like 56% of 200Mbit.
The question is what are your speeds going to look like on a 100Mbit line? 56Mbit or 7MB/s?

My support ticket was also ignored.
The accounts mail was responded to on the same day.
Their accounts department has been very friendly, helpful and responsive.
I manged to get Supersonic details to test with.
Got solid speeds on local (5ms/93down/48up) and international (162ms/92down/36up) speedtests.
And a solid 10MB/s SFTP download from my private server in EU Finland.
YouTube 4K streaming works flawlessly.
I'm sold. I'll chat to them on Monday...
Thanks for pointing this out. I would definitely prefer to not have be concerned with shaping if possible.
I don't consider myself an excessive user (or abuser) but I definitely don't want to concerned about my connection when I do have to download a bunch of data or have a couple of streaming...
Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely leaning towards Supersonic at the moment.
I've had a good read through their thread on here and it does seem mostly positive.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will have a closer look at their products. Unfortunately from a quick glance they seem quite expensive at ~R1800/m for a 100Mbit line.
