I'm reluctantly selling my 2012 honda CBX250 twister. I thought I would keep it forever,in my opinion such a loved bike in mint condition would get more valuable over time.
Just looking for thoughts on price, would R30k be fair? The bike is black with red stickers. Never been a delivery bike...
A bit off topic but an interesting story about life insurance:
I met a lady at a car wash a few years back, we started talking and as the conversation flowed she explained that she had recently resigned from work after 6 months as the job was emotionally draining. She worked for an insurance...
Some eye candy for the thread, I love my bikes. Don't get to ride much since I'm no longer commuting. Was supposed to sell the CBX when I got the GSR but just can't let go.
Don't disregard the resale value of a GTI, GTI fans who will be buying this are trading/selling their 5 year old GTI for the new model. So they won't be paying 12 500 pm it's closer to 5000pm.
A 5 year old GTI will still sell for +-400k whereas a 5 year old (similar price when new) Opel...
I started on a 250 and rode it for 2 years before going bigger, I'm glad I started there it gave me confidence and and I still have it. . Its fun to ride it hard and still be within your limits. Something you can't always do on a bigger bike. I agree don't buy new, see if you can find a second...
Fear not, the truth will come out eventually...

Thanks for the tip I'll check them out, I need to get the proper specs of my battery, I don't want to get something that doesn't fit. I was sceptical of buying a battery online.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I've never had to buy a battery before, R570 seems steep, my Figo battery was R700 is that the average price of a bike battery?
My 250 CBX needs a new battery, even after leaving it on the trickle charger for a couple days still not enough charge to start up.
Where can I get a quality battery at a good price around Midrand or anywhere in Gauteng.
I started riding to avoid traffic, and before lockdown I would commute daily, with an occasional weekend ride.
Since lockdown started iv only been doing trips to the shops once a week and only two long rides.
Iv made a some observations during this time.
1- I tend to be a bit more reckless...
