I don't think that their service level is sub-par, but their pricing isn't the most competitive unless you live in a Vuma Reach or similar area. Add to that the price increases and hidden fees they've been trying to implement over the years such as penalties for downgrading etc.

I experienced this some time back when trying to help someone with Vodacom 4G internet via Anydesk. The workaround is to go to https://anydesk.com.cn/en

What they don't tell you about the 3 year warranty is that they have unlimited time to perform the repair, there's nothing in their terms that specifies how long they have to complete the repair.
It takes them way longer than it should to source replacement parts.
If it says shipping method AliExpress Standard shipping it will almost certainly be sent by courier.
If it says anything else and it's free or cheap shipping, it will almost certainly be sent to SAPO.
