Different - the same process as per usual "old school" way to flash ESP8266 modules (hardware adapter required: FTDI USB-Serial). I had the Itead "SME FOCA-USB TO SERIAL ADAPTER" from Communica already. Use this as reference:

Update: I have managed to flash Tasmota onto this Smart Plug successfully. Had to open the device up carefully and solder onto the clearly marked solder pads some wires in order to interface with the FTDI (USB to Serial) adapter - used "NodeMCU-PyFlash" tool to flash the latest "Tasmota.bin"
Hi, so it seems that the Connex Connect, Bneta and the Qualitel smart plugs are all powered by the Tuya maker. I recently bought the overpriced Connex Connect plug from Makro, but did the upgrade of the stock firmware first, before I decided to want to flash Tasmota.. but with latest...
