I have to say FNB Pay Day has been a massive letdown since its launch.
They were clearly trying to compete with Discovery Miles Day, but it's been a big fail.
With Discovery, you know what you are going to get and you can spend your miles on basically anything.

I am currently having issues with HealthyCare with Clicks as I haven't received any miles the past two months and they claim I didn't spend anything, but I know I bought products that qualified.
I see Tiger Wheel and Tyre has now also disappeared. There was another tyre place on there that has also been removed.
They are making it more difficult to earn, but the partners continue to drop :(
It's this for me, plus Discovery has most of the same partners in terms of the big ones (Takealot, ODO) to spend Miles + A lot more.
Rewards might not be as big, but it is becoming an attractive option due to the number of partners.

The FNB Connect thing is such bs as last month lotto counted (and I am sure it was included when the updated rules were released), but now it has disappeared from the from the list.

As mentioned above, you have to open a free discovery bank account. I've had it for a couple of years now and only use that account to buy vouchers, spend Miles.
We stayed in Almagro as we got free accommodation from a friend who lives there. We were considering San Telmo if we had to pay.
Re Iguazu Falls/Vic Falls. I haven't been to Vic Falls, but it is still on my to-do list despite seeing Iguazu.
