Yikes. I can imagine this will be the death of the Whatsapp self service portals too that a lot of these companies have, since every reply is now going to cost money.
I love how MTN and Vodacom complain the cheaper data hurt their revenue, yet Telkom celebrates the uptake in data demand.
All of this complaining while all these companies still make billions (with a B) in profit.
The saddest part is you have that massive profit, but yet they (and everyone else for that matter) keep increasing their prices to cover their increasing costs... I mean, it is pretty clear you covered your costs about R26.7 billion ago.
