    Thank you guys for the information. Its 220v 194w direct, so will try with an old PC ups for now until I can get the Sonoff to try and get the power draw.

    I currently have a Digidoor II garage door motor (and this is the lucky model that doesn't support battery back-up), and as per the links description I am looking for battery back-up / UPS / inverter option that I can power the garage motor when loadshedding kicks in.

    Thats true, but don't have the moola to replace it right now, other things that I needs replaced and fix up that take priority. So was looking for an alternative until I can replace it, but might use the pc's ups for now.
