    No, on a Piper Cherokee, we had in flight school. I did fly the Cirrus while sitting next to my dad a couple of times; amazing planes. The latest generations are just mind-blowing and expensive AF. I think we paid about $450-500k at R6/dollar back then for the Cirrus.

    AC Direct has some good deals. I asked my local installer for a quote on the new Midea Unicool 12k BTU with installation. The quote came to R12 500.00 They have installed 4 AC's for me at my place, so I know their work. Apparently the Midea Extreme range has been discontinued.

    Around 20 years ago, I was doing my PPL. My father had bought himself a brand new Cirrus and got his PPL and night rating at the time. After I went solo on about 10 hours, I quit. I just felt it was too much responsibility with other people's lives and me flying the plane.

    I had a bumper month. Never had my Eskom usage so low. Also had the most production ever. Going on just my standard rate per Eskom unit, I would have spent R3400 on prepaid electricity. Instead, I paid R154
