    Nothing here is that an iphone cannot be cleared and sold secondhand. It is merely locking down stollen devices, preventing unauthorised password changes/reset without biometrics and a delay of an hour if you not at a common geo location. Nothing about ewaste here but security.

    There is 1 satellite feeding the region, streaming means servers, cache's and bandwidth. Which is also more of an issue for the viewer. Most people in Africa use capped mobile data, fibre access is limited to major metro areas. Satellite reaches everywhere with no data costs or slowing down...

    The cost of management of desktops is massive, especially in big corps. Lockdown etc. Linux desktop manager is a nightmare, and then you land up with paid distro's and management software, Windows works out cheaper.
