The Weight (2026) - 7.5/10. Has some Shawshank Redemption DNA with Crowe and especially Hawk in top gear with some riveting set pieces.
Mayday (2026) - 6.5/10. Familiar and faily entertaining nifty camera work but ultimately forgettable
Spider Island - 6/10. Like Piranha and as Snakes on a Plane, doesn't pretend to be anything else but b grade schlock. Good Spider effects.
The Runner - 2/10. One for each butt cheek. Opening scene has Gadot chasing and winning against a male runner in the park. Really??!! Switched off after this.
Motor City - 7.5/10. Neo noir visual storytelling at its finest.
The Invite - 7/10. Had a good chuckle with all the sex jokes courtesy of Rashida Jones.
