Hundreds of Volkswagen Amarok bakkies recalled in South Africa

There have been quite a number of vehicle recalls of late. Seems quality checks have gone out the window to turn numbers and profit in exchange for safety.

Series [Please do NOT post any spoilers] - Season VI

Love horror, Stephen King and Mike Flanagan, so this is a no brainer for me.

Series [Please do NOT post any spoilers] - Season VI

Final episode of Lanterns was above average. A couple of twists. The season was underwhelming. I expected more and different but was disappointed. Not sure if I will watch a 2nd season if they make one, especially if Kyle Chandler is not in it. He made the show.

Movie Mini-Review Thread - Part IV

Runner (2026) - 7/10. Very enjoyable action flick. Both leads are good in this. Owen Wilson surprised me with his performance. The movie has heart and draws up emotion. Unusual for a action movie but welcome nonetheless.

The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

Good wins for the Lions and Sharks. Bulls were outplayed, score flatters them but they should be getting some Bok-power back for the next game.

Series [Please do NOT post any spoilers] - Season VI

Watching a 1997 mini series - Stephen King's The Shining. Apparently he was directly involved in making this as he was unhappy with Kubrick's 1980 film and wanted it to more closely follow his book. There are 3 episodes. Not too bad so far but feels B-grade. Atmosphere & setting is top class. A...
