    you are correct in that they require little to no skill. but keeping your properly centered using them is where my issue comes in. as you pull your knife through the system little turns and twist in your hand and arm movements can cause issues in ling term use.

    That's is, unfortunately, the problem these days, people have anvils and they think it's a pot of gold. When the face and edges of the anvil is gone it will cost me the same to reface the anvil as what I bought it for.
