SA Post Office stole my smartwatch - South African customer

I bought a Suunto Spartan Trainer from the US on 19 Sep 2018 for $200. The tracking also ended when when the item was handed to SAPO. It's been a year, with numerous enquiries to all levels in SAPO. I got nowhere. They just reply, "sorry it's lost". Zero accountability
