    The official running thread™

There's also the mental aspect of starting the day on a high and not having to worry about being too knackered for an afternoon run. I've been sidelined for 3 months due to injury, but almost ready to head out in the cool winter air again. Can't wait.

    Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

No, but I suspect that's where I'm headed to next. Once home affairs red flags your biometrics, the banks can't do anything but kick you out. Maybe open an account with Bank Zero and move funds there until issue is resolved.

    Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

No threats yet, certain features are locked until I upgrade. Im guessing it's a biometrics issue.

Bizarre brain "shrink" seen in long-distance runners

From the article... And more work is needed – as this study only looked at the brain scans of 10 runners (eight male), aged 45–73 years – and it offers an association, but not causation. "This pilot observational imaging study has limitations, including a relatively small number of...

Bizarre brain "shrink" seen in long-distance runners

Since I started running a few year ago I've actually started to look younger. That "runners face" you're referring to is more to do with sun exposure and eccentuated wrinkles due to being lean rather than the metabolic effects of running. I forgot what else I was going to say.

Same here but now I HAVE to get into strength due to injury, so it's a bit of a Catch 22 situation. I noticed there's much more wear and tear on my left shoe at the heel. Started single leg strength and my left leg/glute is noticably weaker. Injury is also left ankle. Good to learn these things.
