    I just cut them - I have a ton of straps from overlanding trips. I basically bought hex dumbbells in 5kg increments after 40kg, so this basically fills in the gaps, 40, 42.5, 45, 47.5, 50, etc I changed the plates in question to metal ones though, these cheap concrete ones lasted one drop.

    There's a 12v trigger (can't recall exactyl), think its at the bottom somewhere, by default its setup as a "momentary switch" switch - if you have a keypad you can change it to a latching switch. I never bothered changing mine because I don't have a keypad , so mine is just in HA as a momentary...

    Did you use the a Claude plugin? I need to revisit mine, so many of the entities and customizations I have are redundant, just about every dashboard has missing entities. These days everything is so automated, I don't really use the app or front-end.
