I am. To be honest, I prefer them over some others because of the comfort they provide over longer runs. Been to their manufacturing plant and its cool to see how its done. On site shop has a large range on offer.
Problem is that I am reducing my running due to injuries and decided to run just to keep fit and get out. Shoes were bought when running was my primary activity.
There are a few hiking groups in WC that go out regularly, across to the better spots on like a roster basis.. Met them whilst doing the Newlands forest a year back.
From my learnings, don't rush the process. When your training is spot on, then go for it. I succumbed to group pressure and paid the price alone. All the best!!
