Emergency plans if Cell C goes bust

MyBroadband has learned that Cell C and MTN are developing emergency plans to ensure Cell C subscribers stay connected in the event of the company going bankrupt.

Cell C is under severe financial pressure and has been forced to delay its debt payments and hire consultants to probe its business practices.

Cell C lost the plot when they started charging Vodacom like data prices while the network remained Cell C like. I ported as soon as they increased the WhatsApp bundle from R5 and increased their data prices.

Read a book perhaps?
If you can read or own one that is....

Maybe they can just turn Cell C into the WOAN and have it immediately be reincarnated as a typical loss-making state owned enterprise.

Next in line is telkom to go bust as they are on vodacom network. When everything was fine on MTN why the hell the top bosses at telkom decide to move to Vodacom?

Telkom had the best ADSL network which they could have used to bring fiber to everyone quicker and cheaper but were all asleep or were pretending to be asleep so that others can take over the market.
Telkom's currently profitable. How were they going to use ADSL to bring fibre to everyone?

Why would MTN give a crap about CellC's survival, surely the roaming revenue MTN gets from CellC is not that significant?

FNB Connect is an MVNO on CellC's network, FNB has the resources to buy and recapitalise CellC, and that is something that MTN cannot do as it would probably not be approved by the Competition Tribunal.

Soooooooooooooo

Who is to blame inside cell c? who shall be threatened with burning at the stake?

But they had money to change CI from red to orange
