Actually you will notice that in 3.0 format the engine doesnt work as hard so fuel between the 2.0tdi and 3.0tdi is not very far apart.

For starters this is SA, where are EV's the defacto thing?

Secondly, hybrids are horrible, nasty, petrol savers - they are there there just to beat emission controls for their ancient petrol engines. Thirdly, this is a car appreciation thread. Most users here like cars that are designed to be "driven". A car with feedback... A hybrid Honda Jazz isn't gonna give you f*ckall.
 
All-round nice rides guys. Hopefully soon I'll be in a financial position to own a vehicle again.

My comment was mostly a tongue in cheek one. Yes I know the pitfalls of hybrids/electric vehicles. But I thought someone would atleast own a BMW i8 and be proud of showing it off. Those look cool.
 
Gave it a hand wash for the first time in a while, always a bit of an eye opener, my word has it picked up a lot of scratches and dings!
Not that it bothers me too much, when I got it there was evidence of it having a few less-than-ideal washes before me.
