I'm not one to comment much on MyBB regarding these posts, but if you watch the full Masselspoort incident, as a white person, I know how racist some people still are.

You have to ask yourself; why did the people in the pool, get out of the pool when the 2 black kids jumped in, after they were denied entry by the accused.

What I don't appreciate though, is the knee-jerk reaction without any evidence and also how these incidents get politicised. Lets face it, racism is very much alive in South Africa and it swings both ways - Politicians love it, because its an opportunity for them to rally people.

It should be a police matter and nothing more.

Unfortunately you are 100% correct. No one cares about those that wrongly accused someone of racism...they only care about those that are found guilty beyond reasonable doubt and made an example of!

Things are only going to get worse now with AI being capable of impersonating almost anyone. The world is about to become incredibly dirty. Just check how ElevenLabs backtracked on their model after it was abused creating 'hate' messages from others.

As far as I know, that link couldn't be established and the media outlet contacting the farmer is murky at best. The story also hit far too close to the Belinda Magor incident which will unfold at the end of next month.

I do keep an eye on social media, and there are undesirable people from all sides. Sadly, most don't have the courage to expose or brave their real identity.

People don't turn racist overnight, just like alcohol doesn't turn people into racists.

Doesn't matter how racist people are, they don't deserve to be victims of crime - just saying some people make it easier than others.

All other official languages are imports to SA. The Bantu languages from the north and English from even further north. Afrikaans developed in SA. Thus the only indigenous language.
