SA is about to be in the middle of a Russian propaganda coup around an 'unstoppable' weapon

By virtue of being one of the BRICS nations, unfortunately SA committed themselves to marriage with China & Russia way before the war on Ukraine

I hope our local media and independent journos covers the fsck out of this.

Not like those curated photos we got when the USS Theodore Roosevelt anchored off Cape Town.

Was that his response when you offered lobola for Dudu?

Probably going to be another "simulated" launch, and the SA Navy is going to "simulate" its existence.

My question is why off the KZN coast when the missile test range with all the required test and recording equipment is situated on the Southern Cape coast at Overberg near Bredasdorp? NATO navies test their missiles there because of that.

Could this be a big PR exercise the Russians don't want recorded because they know the missile is not all it's hyped up to be?

We tested our cactus and Hilda missiles at the Reccie camp at St Lucia. Fired them at the ocean.

I am more curious what they will be targeting, it is not like we have any uninhabited or derelict bodies. All the islands we have are protected. Launching a Zircon into the abyss will be… uhm, a waste.

Who knows, maybe the Chinese or Russians will be towing something along...

This remains a test exercise, pending on how well it is executed, so we won’t be in the middle anywhere other than them being in our waters under a bilateral agreement.

Maybe the Chinese will bring along a balloon purchased off Wish.com. Apparently it took the americans 2 x $400K missiles to shoot down one floating balloon.
