The South African Jewish Board on Monday released a statement slamming SA Rugby's decision to withdraw an invitation to an Israeli rugby team to play in the country.

Last Friday, the governing body for rugby in South Africa announced their decision to withdraw an invitation to Tel Aviv Heat, who were set to play in the newly announced Mzansi Challenge.

Ah, easy targets. Everyone and their druncle is slamming SA Rugby.

Once the SA Jewish Board has finished laying down the pain, maybe they could apply some pressure to the ANC to stop rawdogging eskom and by extention South Africa.

Otherwise soon it might just be, The ex Jewish Board back in Israel, nose against the wall.

“We have listened to the opinions of important stakeholder groups and have taken this decision to avoid the likelihood of the competition becoming a source of division, notwithstanding the fact that Israel is a full member of World Rugby and the IOC,” said Mark Alexander, president of the South African Rugby Union said at the time.
Decolonized..

Don't see an issue here. Just like we were outcasts, Apartheid Israel must be shunned.

I've never really understood the term Apartheid being applied to Israel. Palestinian territories are a different matter and self governed, so why does Apartheid apply to Israel itself? Could you please explain?

Not that we need it to know what has been going on for decades, but here

I guess it's who ever is willing to line the pockets of politicians that get's South Africa's support *cough* Russia *cough* China *cough*

South Africa is just a prostitute for who it supports publicly - which actually taints and brings into question any public stance South Africa takes
