These big batteries can help you beat load-shedding

Batteries that charge off the grid and not solar is just an expensive temporary band-aid. The more batteries are used, the more blackouts will be needed.

A battery with no solar panels should not be regarded as any type of solution. I think however that the colt has bolted. A huge wave of battery uptake is already happening, and this is making blackouts worse. It is a downward spiral if no new generation is created.

That sounds like someone else's problem in Africa you look out for numba 1 only.

This is Africa friend, our useless government created this mess and I'll employ whatever solution I can, to limit the impact of their incompetence on myself and my loved ones.

Of course we all are, as long as we realize that a battery in itself is just an expensive temporary band-aid. The only thing that can be truly called a solution is to get you and your family the fvck out of sh1thole. Go buy a battery instead of a plane ticket, but do not call a battery a solution, that is just fooling yourself.

Shoto, Pylontech and Dyness.

If you want to burn down your home, just buy a pack of matches, it's cheaper and the matches probably has a longer warranty.
Shoto pylontech dyness as far as i know is based in lithium iron phosphate batteries if you do bad wiring that overheats at least the batteries wont explode

That is a safe chemistry

The article mentions lithium ion
Which isn't one of the safe chemistries

Most of the batteries they mention is actually the phosphate type ie lifep04

I would not put a li-ion battery in my house in the garage maybe

I do have lifep04. Lithium in the house
