The Spar branded stuff is around R22 a box. I make 5 braais with a box. Could probably stretch that if I spent more time with axe in hand. Nah!

and i use about half a pack for each fire ...so one box lasts about 8 fires
I think the Blitz is close to R45 now. Not going to pay that. Got lots of expanded polystyrene in the garage. A bit of thinners and you've got yourself some homemade gel. Not so green however.
