Yeah, we only managed 14.5kWh from PV yesterday and 9.3kWh today so using a bit of CityPower at the moment.
That's still quite a nice amount, I'm using about 13kWh from city power :-( cause when there is cloud cover I am literally down to 400w generation :-( which doesn't top up batteries. Though look about 8 of that is probably geyser and food prep

There are days we use that much from CityPower and make over 30kWh from PV  Two electric geysers with 3kW elements and some electric oven use, I have been trying to reduce the time that the geysers are on each day though so hopefully it will come down.

Wow that is quite a bit pulled, though I don't know what I pull from the sun, I really do need to hook up solarman or something :-)

Yep, need to sort our main DB out, then getting the CT clamp in a proper place so we can use excess PV for non-essentials like the electric geysers.

Is there no interface for your inverter at all?

Nope the Mecer/Axperts are pretty dumb in that regards, wasted PV is wasted :-(. Though I'm looking at maybe going gas geyser when funds are available.

Gas geysers (heaters) are great, I miss the one we had in our last house.
Yeah definitely be my next purchase :-) as honestly right now that is my biggest waste.

Seemed like there was a barrier for most of summer keeping the rain out of the Faerie Glen region. That has definitely gone. Now it seems to have changed into a funnel bringing all the rain in.

The possible energy produced by the sun :)
As by 12pm I'm generally only covering load so I'm only using about 1kw from the sun.
Make more hot water by adding more geysers instead of buying expensive gas? You can have hot water that will last 3 days.

The smart gas geysers are nice if you put your electric geyser inline. You can set the temperature and they will only heat the water if its cooler than that. So you only use gas when the geyser isn't keeping up.
