I disagree with some of the conclusions. Nothing will come of it. Europe has invested to much political will backing Ukraine. If if they know it was the US they can never and will never acknowledge it,

Lots of waffle and no answer to the question. I can tell you how to end the war immediately. The moment Russia pulls their forces out of Ukraine, the war ends.
