Traces of explosives found at Nord Stream pipelines, confirming 'gross sabotage,' Sweden says

On Monday Andersson said Sweden won’t even share the findings of the explosions that took place in the Swedish economic zone, with Russian authorities.

“In Sweden, our preliminary investigations are confidential,
and that, of course, also applies in this case,” she told reporters.
So does that mean they will be sharing the full investigation when they are finished?

Oh right, they won't do that because they want NATO membership.

It was obvious when the news just stopped covering the pipelines explosion. If it was anybody but them media the world over would have shoved it down our throats all day every day.

Also why Sweden couldn't release their findings.

Norway, the snake in the grass.

So, what is your assessment then?

So do the Russians and they do have more submarines better tasked to this clandestine type of work.

Yes. The Belgorod Special Mission Class submarine is specifically built for this type of work:

A Project 18270 "Bester“ Deep-Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) can be carried in a cradle on the back.

The cradle and DSRV has been observed fitted to another Special Missions host submarine, BS-64 Podmoskovye. Additionally the outline of a DSRV-shaped object was visible on the back of Belgorod in the Nov-19 2015 slide 'leak' of Status-6 (now known as Poseidon). This silhouette of Belgorod has proven accurate so it should be taken as a strong indicator that Belgorod is also intended to carry the DSRV.

There are two interpretations to this capability. The first is that the DSRV will itself be used for placing or maintaining installations on the sea floor. The second is that the DSRV may be carried to provide a means of rescuing the Losharik or Paltus AGS if they get into trouble.

Which puts us back in the position of....what reason does Russia have to blow up their own pipe which they only stand to lose their hold over Europe, and nothing to gain.

How many more times do I have to tell you that the Russians can claim force majeure if the pipeline is destroyed and avoid paying contractual penalty costs for not delivering gas to the EU?

US bombed Nord Stream gas pipelines, claims investigative journalist Seymour Hersh

The bombing of the Nord Stream underwater gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea was a covert operation ordered by the White House and carried out by the CIA, a report by a veteran investigative journalist claims.

You like it because it gives a 1% chance of explanation never mind that again it makes no sense.

Russia was already cutting the supply and increasing prices which would've outstripped any force majeure fines.

Also lmao at force majeure fines in the first place.

Force majeure is not a fine. It's an absolvement of contractual responsibility because the infrastructure to honour the contract is destroyed.

Because Russia was cutting the supply, they would be subject to penalties. With the pipeline gone, they can claim force majeur and not pay the penalties.

Russia must've somehow put the explosives....inside the pipe.

Easy. Use a pipeline pig and rig it with explosives. It can only go from supplier to recipient and calculating where it is, is simple:
