Ramaphosa announces national state of disaster over power cuts

No point in working at all if you have no electricity... Soon companies will declare only half salary and maybe part time employment if you are lucky.
We will all be getting big social grants, NHI, smart cities, high speed rail and other things so why should we worry?

So the government has admitted to their policies causing a disaster.

So where to now?

They realised during the previous Disaster that they can do whatever they want with no consequences.

Now they are going to fix a problem of their own making. This state of Disaster will continue indefinetly until they voted out. As anyone with a brain cell knows they cant fix anything.

Besides the energy this is the biggest problem.

"Around 60 per cent of our budget is spent on what is known as the social wage, providing various forms of support, basic services and assistance to households and individuals to combat poverty and hunger.

"In support of this work and to counter the rising cost of living, we will continue the Social Relief of Distress Grant, which currently reaches around 7.8 million people."

Mandatory backup power required for all. If you don't comply you will lose your job and/or declared a waste of electricity.
