Hi,

Lost the cap to my radiator/coolant reservoir after a trip to the garage. (yes, I know)

Where would I be able to find a replacement for this in and around (northern) Johannesburg? It's for a 2004 Toyota Corolla.

Took this pic a while ago... Cap in question is circled:

Cap doesnt have to be specific its a non pressurised tank, any cap with a hole in it for breathing will do for now. If you find a cap that fits make a hole in it push some fishtank piping in it just a short way and tuck it away to breathe out of.it must not be a sealing cap.

My neighbor lost a coolant knob on Toyota and found a 3d model, just 3d printed it with ABS fireproof filament and it worked pretty well until he found a proper one.

Thanks! Was thinking about something like this.

Thought I'd just get a proper replacement cap, but this would be nice to look into.

Goldwagen or any spare shop.

How come?

It wasn't parked overnight, just curious.

The condensation and moisture thrown up from the grass just eats cars alive over time.

Didn’t believe it myself until the woes starting a car in the morning instantly went away once my mechanic highlighted I shouldn’t park it on the grass overnight.
